About Trosort

At Trosort, we build AI-powered machines to revolutionize textile sorting. Our product, the SortMate, combines cameras, NIR sensors, and machine learning to automate the grading and sorting of used garments at industrial scale โ€” detecting brand, condition, material, and resale value in real time.

We don't just sort textiles. We're building the data and automation backbone of the circular fashion economy. ๐ŸŒ

The role

This is a unique hybrid role sitting at the intersection of customer success and applied ML engineering. You will be the technical face of Trosort for our customers โ€” guiding them from onboarding to full deployment โ€” while also contributing directly to the CV/ML product team to extend and adapt our models to new client needs.

You are the bridge between what the customer needs and what the machine can do.

Your impact

โ†’ Customer onboarding & success: Lead the technical onboarding of new clients. Understand their sorting workflows, configure the SortMate to their context, and ensure smooth go-live.

โ†’ Model adaptation & fine-tuning: Work with the CV/ML team to adapt models (brand recognition, defect detection, attribute extraction) to new garment types, lighting conditions, or product categories.

โ†’ Data analysis & feedback loops: Analyze inference data from client deployments to identify performance gaps, edge cases, and distribution shifts. Turn customer feedback into model improvements.

โ†’ Technical project management: Own customer implementation projects end-to-end โ€” from requirements gathering to deployment sign-off.

There is a match if you have

โœ” A builder's mindset โ€” as comfortable debugging a model in a notebook as jumping on a customer call โœ” 3+ years of hands-on CV/ML experience in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar) โœ” Strong communication skills โ€” you translate technical realities for non-technical customers, and customer needs into engineering specs โœ” A taste for messy real-world data โ€” you build robust pipelines for noisy, inconsistent production environments โœ” Fluent in English โ€” you communicate clearly with international clients and partners โœ” Last but not least : Project ownership โ€” when you pick up a project, it gets done
